Pesaro

Pesaro is situated on the north eastern Adriatic coast of Italy. The city is full of history dating back to 2nd century Roman times. The Pesaro film festival has taken place here since 1965 and also the Rossini Opera Festival since 1980. Pesaro has some stunning examples of historical architecture and places of religious and historical interest including the Ducal Palace, Rocca Costanza and the Imperial Villa.
